I had the berry Acai bowl and had really high hopes for this place as I am looking for a good smoothie bowl places that isn’t as sweet or added sugar like playa bowls! Pure green is all natural but the acai bowl was also covering bland and watery. Not sweeet at all and the fruit on top (blueberries and strawberries) were fresh but the acai base itself wasn’t good. It was incredibly bland and watery. I was disappointed. The granola also wasn’t really that good and tasted a little stale. The granola at playa bowls is better but I’m not a fan of play bowls because theirs bowls taste too sweet and sugary and like a sorbet almost. Maybe it was just an off day at Pure Green because I love the concept and calories other bowls and the fact they don’t added anything articulable sweeteners like the other bowl places. I like the clean fresh modern atmosphere of pure green too. Will have to try another bowl there and give it another shot one day. So far the best acai bowl I’ve had in the city is Deep Purple but they only offer one kind of base which is acai but it is really good!

I was shopping with my teenage son and daughter near by and we decided to come make a purchase for a late lunch. Upon entry we were greeted by a young lady behind the counter. My son had to use the bathroom. I asked the young lady at the counter if he could use the facilities. To which she said yes and provided a code. We decided to wait for my son to rejoin us before ordering as he had not had a chance to look at the menu. While looking at the paper menu with my daughter a young man behind the counter said “hey, I want to let you know, if you don’t make a purchase and just used the bathroom you’re not allowed back here.” I was taken aback by this as my son was still in the rest room and we had not even finalized our order as a group. Rather than make a scene out of a very unsavory moment I decided to remain polite and ask his name. I asked if the general manager was available, he said she wasn’t there. I then asked for a corporate contact and he replied “no I’m not giving that to you.” I said ok, thank you and have a nice day. He read the situation completely wrong and assumed we were just there to use the restroom. My daughter still wanted to order but I insisted we would not

This place is clean and organized. The menu was simple and the drink special was only $7.99. It was nice to try something new. I had the Blue Royale smoothie and wasn’t disappointed. The employees were kind and acknowledged us right when we walked in. It took less than 3 minutes after ordering to get our drinks. I’ll definitely visit this place again my next trip to Chicago.

These are pricer smoothies, but also better quality 🤷‍♀️ But if you have a coupon… it’s a no brainer, you have to try this place! Cute atmosphere too! Piña colada 4/5⭐️ This is the perfect summer drink! These smoothies are so creamy and fresh!! Pure power 4/5⭐️ The perfect fall drink! This tastes like a blended oatmeal cookie, and I LOVE oatmeal cookies! Plus it has 20g of protein

Went here around May 21st. The atmosphere of this location is very calm for a wicker park experience. The Cashier taking the order seem to not want to talk at all and just wanted our order. A girl which if she wanted to not work in customer service should quit. After she took our order she was the only one making acai bowls. The bowls look ascetically pleasing but the acai base was very runny, there was too much granola and very bad after taste where you need water to flush it out. Overall if your staff can't make a simple acai bow and be friendly to customers they should get another job.
